Allied opportunists, how about a little suggestion:
Since we do not have a HA yet, we can make one in SEA.
Simply, let's follow our own rules.
For example, let Knight be Axis side. If you stick to the rules, being a Knight will make you an Axis pilot. You should only fly Luftwaffe, Reggia Aeronautica and IJA/IJN planes.
Let's say you want to fly for Allied opportunists. Then you switch to Bishops and are allowed to fly US, RAF and Soviet planes.
Forget about the Rooks for now, no 3 sides please.
Of course, some bending of the rules can be expected. Axis doesn't have a bomber or troop carrying plane, so we will have to fly those ugly things until we get better replacements. Allied will have to stick to the good tank type until they get their lousy Shermans or something else.
Moreover, unhistorical C Hog vs 109 combat will still be possible, but this would call for further rules refinements.
For now, let's stick to simple Allied vs Axis sides.
It is all up to you. If you agree, I am sure rest of JG 54 will gladly participate in this arena. Most of us are really sick of fighting Nikis or 109s in 190s.
I do not know if it is against HTC policy, but we would appreciate any CM help, limiting plane types from certain fields. If they agree, we could have separate Euro and Pacific sectors in the map.
