Seriously, they are fun! However, they are also death traps, virtually undefendable against everything from rocket firing fighters, to dive bombers, to Ostwinds. Closing on a fleet is like wearing a sign that says "shoot me". That's where the fun stops, when 5" gunners pop you for giggles.

Our Squad has twice switched to Rooks for an evening and was great fun. Yup we are Bish, but sometimes we fly with Goth as rooks for a little side balancing. We are Bish so we don't usually fly against the Bish just the eveil knits

I never voice grumble when Bish boneheads drive their eees, even if GV, PT, or CV, instead of saving my 6, cause save grumble for woman. She comes home and grumbles all the time. It no matter PT or not!! Bishes fun group, so I am there. Silly PT less issue.

Found this old thread when our squad switched to the low numbered side .

Just so you all know I don't at this time think that the Bish are evil anymore , hehe , some are nice guys just misinformed as were all the good guys fly

Don't plan on swiching either , met some nice guys and gals flying rooks and hope to be long time friends with more .

PT's are not just fun

2-3 PT's can kill a town with Rox, 40mm and the rest

Pts are easy kills with a 5inch maybe, but if you let em do their stuff they can kill a cv with torps, rox and 40mm. (already got cv kills with rox)

Anyway AA shells shouldn't explode at PT's...I dunno if it was possible in real life but its a gameplay matter

lol last week i was waiting outside of the cv ack of a bish cv and i kept killing all those fresh hogs and seafires that were upping as i was in my stang, once us rooks had a presence only 1 pt boat upped, lol shawk got bored and kamakazied it lol wtg shawk no action until someguy upped an sbd on the deck and sat there until bombers killed the cv yep i guess he was waiting for proxy kills, lol as for pts besides the occasional very rare chance to sink a cv pts are useless and are nothing but pony fodder
