Got a new (well, newER) computer to go with my Radeon 7200---(WIN 98 second is the OS) this was an existing hard drive goin from an A-bit motherboard with a P3 to an ASUS board with a 950 Duron---spent all day gettin ANY type of 3d graphics to run--they do now..game barely fires up offline (has a 15-20 second freeze at once I click on "offline"..then I have a permanent frozen mouse icon in center of screen--tho mouse DOES work aside from that. Online...managed to get on once this am..since then..puter locks up. Direct X 8.1 (yup, I reinstalled that, along with windows again, and the ATI software agin)---installed the junk that came with the board...but there are prolly like 1.4 million changes I could effect to make this prob go away...lol mebbe yall could narrow that down a wee bit. (btw..when i DID get game to run..only had frames of 30 or so)

BJ,

Did ya format the hd and do an os install?

I suggest ya do, cuz the chipset is completely different.

Not necessarily needed, although recommended.  Here's what I'd do if you don't want to format and re-install...
Note:  If you screwup it's not my fault.
Copy the win98 directory on the CD to the root of your C:

Go into safe mode (f8 after POST)
open device manager
go through all the devices and remove it one by one.
reboot after you removed everything.
98se should redetect everything, if not use your driver disks.  I will recommend afterwards you reinstall directX after reloading your Video driver.
