Increasing tension in the X36?
« on: November 05, 2002, 12:57:02 AM »
I've had my X36 for about a year now and it's still working great.  My only gripe is the play on the joystick doesn't offer much resistence.  I was over at a friends house the other day and tried out a fresh out of the box Saitek X45 and the tension was much higher and closer to what I would perfer.  Is there anyway to tighten up the X36 or otherwise increase the resistence on the X36?

Keep in mind I'm poor and have no idea how a joystick works, thank you.  :)

The only way I know of is to replase the springs in the stick. You can get CH springs which will work here. http://www.chproducts.com/shop/parts.html

Hope this helps. By the way, I see you are  from San Jose to, were?:)
