250 is about the max we can *safely* get into an arena, and then there's the command team, the CM team etc. on top of that. So, we gotta limit it to 250 I'm afraid.
However, we're (or more specifically, Exile) is working on the creation of a reserve list, swap list and, yup, a walk-on list - just exactly as Jordi had suggested (thanks for that Jordi).
So what's gonna happen is this...
The sign-up for the reserve list is going to happen soon. In about a week, we're going to be sending emails to everyone who registered on the main sign-up. They will have about a week to reply to that. This will automatically confirm thier spot. If any gaps appear due to people not confirming, the names will be taken off of the reserve list from the top down.
The swap list will basically just be an area where registrants advertise that they want to move into a different squad. If someone from that squad is ok with that and wants to change places, it will be facilitated manually, via email between the swappers then an email to us.
The walk-on list will be for people who don't know if they can make it, or didn't get a spot fast enough. On game day, these people will go to the practice arena and we'll be filling any holes due to no-shows using that list, again from the top down. In the cases where people know they are available and want to fly, it's suggested you get on both the reserve *and* the walk-on list.
