 If I recall right the Hurricane painted belonged to a Russian ace fighting at Carelian Isthmus. He was shot down near a Finnish air base and before he could be captured placed a 9mm bullet in his head.

Very nice but I'm not sure Soviet aircraft had stars on top of their wings, also I think the red might be a bit too bright or orange.  Hope that helps if you are asking for constructive comments.

Grunherz, u half right

I long time searching for any data about russian land lease airplanes.

Oryginal russian camuflage shema does not have stars on the top wing surfaces.
Most of airplanes have only overpainted brits markings on each wing. Other have all russian repaited shemes.
Many guardian units equiped with land lease airplanes have raf pattern with russian paint colour and  markings overpainted by star.

Hard to say what was true. I have no other historical data for that. And i based on scale model /2 diferent colour schemes , same markings/. So i decide to paint better looks for me:)

Stars possibly to bright, yes possibly u right

What I thought but have seen some lend lease (RAF) stuff with top stars......... I noticed that ramzey had some shading where the roundel was so assumed it was depicting a paint over.
