Possibly. Kuwait as the ultimate destination would be my guess.

Is it still cold... errr "cooler" over there?

Or has that season not yet begun?

I know that if we strike, that's when we'll do it...

Shhhh! We've been quietly building up forces in Kuait for months, very, very slowly...that's why it's not in the news.

Even in Kuait the population doesn't know or see it...good thing too because that population was/is 35% in agreement with the 9/11 attacks.

Gasmasks are now being sold to residents of Kuait City...at cost...wonder who's?

These 3 ships are nothing more than another election day saber rattle...they would have masked their departure better if they were serious...IMO

they're watching whales, not koreans.
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

And if North Korea doesn't wanna be annexed by South Korea real quickly they'll keep their torpedoes in their tubes.

Defense officials said Thursday that the amphibious command ship
USS Mount Whitney — to be used as a floating headquarters off
the coast of Djibouti — will leave its Norfolk, Va., homeport
Tuesday with Marines who will coordinate future military
                      operations in the region.

AKiron, interesting how your original post and its link no longer points to the story this thread was about.

Yeah, what's up with that. Gonna start getting my news from somewhere other than Yahoo! even though it's been my home page since about '95.

BTW, gotta stage the invasion force somewhere right?

Somalia was a humanitarian mission the first time (Attempting to get food into the country to the needy and past the warlords)  If they do go in again, they won't be escorting Red cross food packets ;)
