Quote
Then don't label fellow Americans as "Nword."

Just for the record, I didn't do that.  Read more carefully next time.

12th post down 2nd page of "Reperations" thread:

"That means I'm their N-word about 4 months out of every year."
Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. ... Bertrand Russell

Does it really matter who he labels or is it the label that matters?
Yes, he is my fellow American.

So if I say "N-word" it makes me a racist?  You said it too, so you must be a racist as well.  I have lots of CDs with guys saying that word.  Are they racists?  Please Mr. PC Gestapo, educate me.

If there are any African-Americans out there who were offended by what I said, I apologize.  I rarely say that word and I don't ever use it to label people of color.

C'mon SaburoS you can do better.  I don't have a problem with people because of the color of their skin.  I'd love to see you try to tell the various black friends and coworkers I have had in the past that I'm prejudiced against blacks.  It would be funny.

Hell we don't even disagree on the reparations thing.  Why continue this?

Damn Toyota, I think you're right.  Funked had a racist tone in his pronunciation of "they," "I," "what," "offended," definately in his rhetorical question, the stereotypical reference to a "boom box," and absolutely with his use of a capital N.

I think there's plenty there to tie him to hate crimes.
