If you listen to the sound, you can hear the main gun firing off like a machine gun, nevermind the fact that it was shooting in both directions.  Look closely at the main gun it is firing way faster than it should.

The external Osty gun sound is like a MG sound...more rapid than when in the gunners position...that is why it sounds to rapid.

The GV AA tracers have never truly shown where the person is shooting from his targets POV, if you dive on an Osty and see him shooting at about a 30 degree angle away from you you'd better lookout, it's most likely you he's shooting at.

Also, when viewing films what you're seeing is just a representation of what happened, something like 1 frame in five are recorded and AH's smoothing code fills in the rest...at least that's how I understand it to work and that COULD account for what you saw. So, analyzing weird things happening on film should be left to the experts if there is a question of any sort of foul play.
