Unbelievable. And when he said he flew ATR's, not mentioning a 42 or 72, I can't believe the conversation stopped at that or didn't raise a question?

if I want to get hired, I can say-thousands of hours in single and multi engine high performance aircraft, and literally be true, only those hours would be in front of a computer playing Aces High or other flight sims :)
