try going to
http://www.visualwares.com and getting the evaluation copy of visual route... it'll perform traces/pings from your machine to the HTC server and show you visually how the connection is, particularly whether you're dropping packets (warpage).
lemme know if you need the ip addys for various HTC servers.... although you can also do a comparable function using "ping" on the arena selection screen.
using a 3rd party tool like visualroue or neotrace will give you more features and stuff, tho.
