I posted this in the "Who Are You Pics" thread from the General Discussion Board. It wasn't me who did the knocking down of this guy..but I found it funny.

Am I bad....like really bad?

I heard a story at the Con that cracked me up regarding Goth/Vampire types.

Apparently there was an online sim out which focused on vampires and they were holding a convention in the same venue as, I think Warbirds were...or it may have been AH.

(IT WASN'T AH..I have found out since)

Anyway..these guys/girls were walking around in their "costumes" and some would have their arms crossed in front of them...some showing one finger..some showing up to 4.

The deal was that the arm crossing thing meant that they were "invisible" and the number of fingers showing represented the level of invisibilty attained by the person's on-line character.

Two WB or AH Con goers came across one of these bozos with his arms crossed in front of him and just as they came level with the goth one of them dropped his shoulder and ploughed into the guy sending him into the corridor wall and onto the floor.

The guy who did it apparently leaned over the vampire wanna-be and said "Sorry....didn't see you".

That is pretty funny if you keep it in a role playing context. I mean really, if you're going to role play invisible, you should probably consider that "normal" people can't see you. You should probably get out of their way lol.

I can't wait till everyone with a PIL inside them starts going on about assualt though lol.

Man, that's funny. Even better was Snail, who loaded up a concierge cart at about midnight with 2 or 3 WB Con-goers, then wheeled it through the hallway, banging on it and yelling "bring out yer dead!".

Hee hee hee. You see, now that's funny con stuff. And so is the whole idea of Vampires in one room, and AH weenies in another.

I guess I just don't like the way it mixed in this one instance. Overall it's quite funny though.
