Suppose to be best at 5:30 am here in Seattle, about 30 after I'm in the city aura of lights

We usually get a pretty good show in late August, I believe thats the time of year we're closest to the Milky way? Anyway, theres a campsite we go to up at White Pass, at 5,000 feet. There is a path we walk up to that brings you out on top of a rocky plateau 100 feet above the lake, with nothing but sky above...meteorites entering the atmosphere about 1 every 30 seconds...poetry in motion.

Might have to throw on a sweater though, getting down into the darn 50's at night.
