And it's cloudy in Ottawa.  :(

Suppose to be best at 5:30 am here in Seattle, about 30 after I'm in the city aura of lights :(

Not that it matters, heres our weather forecast:


     TODAY...LIGHT RAIN AT TIMES. BREEZY. HIGHS NEAR 55. SOUTH WIND 15 TO 25 MPH.

     TONIGHT AND TUESDAY...RAIN AT TIMES. BREEZY. LOWS 45 TO 50. HIGHS NEAR 55. SOUTH WIND 15 TO 25 MPH.

     TUESDAY NIGHT...RAIN ENDING. LOWS NEAR 45.

     WEDNESDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY. AREAS OF MORNING FOG. HIGHS NEAR 55.

     THURSDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY. NIGHT AND MORNING FOG. LOWS 40 TO 45. HIGHS NEAR 55.

     FRIDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY. A CHANCE OF MORNING DRIZZLE. LOWS 40 TO 45. HIGHS 50 TO 55.

     SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...PARTLY SUNNY. AREAS OF NIGHT AND MORNING FOG. LOWS 35 TO 40. HIGHS NEAR 50.

We usually get a pretty good show in late August, I believe thats the time of year we're closest to the Milky way?  Anyway, theres a campsite we go to up at White Pass, at 5,000 feet.  There is a path we walk up to that brings you out on top of a rocky plateau 100 feet above the lake, with nothing but sky above...meteorites entering the atmosphere about 1 every 30 seconds...poetry in motion.

Crystal clear here this morning, think we should get a good show tonight.

Might have to throw on a sweater though, getting down into the darn 50's at night. :)
