Let's see. Dictator in a poor country who probably has access to biological or chemical weapons and seek nuclear weapons: Bring in i nspectors, disarm, or face total war.

Same situation but in Asia: let's talk about it.

North Korea is far more of a danger than Iraq is. Why not smack two flies with one swat?

Who says that's not in the works.  Adding N. Korea to the whole "axis of evil" thing should have given you a clue.

Making a big deal out of old news should give you another clue.

North Korea?

They kidnapped Japanese people from Japanese territory.
They now also threaten Japan at diplomacy with Nodong/Taepodong ballistic missiles...and NBC.

They're just CRAZY.

Dont worry, as soon as N.Korea discovers vast oil-fields, we will be at war.

Here is an article on BBC News in regards to the Japanese kidnapped by the North Koreans:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/2487915.stm

Apparently Kim Jong-Il thought that admitting this it would help North Korea's relations with Japan.

US doesn't have infinite power.  We have to do these one at a time.  Also N. Korea is right next to China, very sensitive.  I think most important is that N. Korea will probably be responsive to economic carrots.  Hussein only understands the stick.

All I am saying: be consistent.

Bomb the toejam outta everyone that is tyrannical and generally weird.

And there are more clues than that; the clues are, as Funked pointed out, that economic pressure prolly will work with NK, hence no war.

But I don't want economic pressure.

I want to see that stunninghunk killed and a 'regime change' implemented.

More cool films on CNN of precision guided munitions.

Feed me.

It was you who commented on the mental health of Fidel. I merely commented on the mental health of those who continue to embargo his pitiful little island (which is actually a very nice place - there's some great hotels over there, a friend just got back).:p

Go ahead and try it big boy! ;) (tongue in cheek)

Hey, what about the US's buddy, Pakistan? Why not go after them? They have nukes, they're a military dictatorship. Heck, they were even morally outraged when one of their terrorist buddies was excecuted in the US of A, protesting in the streets and such.

Good ole' US policy. Snub the worlds largest democracy (India) while allying with a muslim dictatorship that has known links to terrorism.

Way to go!

:D
