Now if someone loved me ;)

And I could talk some guys from Mauser into giving me some of the Weapons Museum 's MG151/20s ;)

And I could get a trip to Richmond, Virginia with the finished plane...

I'd be able to settle my grudge with Microsoft the old-fashioned, manly way

I want one, and I want it NOW!:D     If I could only win a big lottery, then I can retire and build that FW-190.

Looks like the Arado for 220k seems to be a real bargain. Does anyone know of a comparable (less than 2 tons, big engine, retractable gear, two seats) new aircraft - and how much it is?

direct fuel injected engine

Isn't this the same engine as the La-5FN and La-7 use?

If so, oh the irony.

Yes Karnak..
funny isnt it. Notice that will all the armour replaced with aluminum plate and the guns gone and that soviet engine. they think it will climb at 4000ft per minute.

I love these sort of builds.

If I could have, I would have got a couple of Thunder Mustangs back when they were making them.

The beauty of the design, with the benefit of modern technology without armour or guns. +5000 FPM climb.

Awesome.

What is so special with these FWs is that they are true 1:1 scale (most reps are 3:4 or 2:3 ) and structural clones.

Its been a long time 60+ years since anyone has seen one in the sky.
