Yes I KNOW it's a game, and I KNOW it's your $14.95/month. But games have rules. How would you like it if someone moved your golf ball on the fairway, or moved your chess pieces around while you were taking a bathroom break?

America’s constitutional right to bear arms is an anachronism dating back to the 18th century. In modern times, it is an unmitigated disaster which has given rise to many millions of privately owned guns and an alarming homicide rate, with a tally of more than 300,000 firearms related homicides in the past 25 years. While no law can be 100% effective, Britain has no “gun culture”, and much stricter firearms controls which have contained the annual tally of gun related homicides to a double digit value - fewer than one fiftieth of the American gun-related homicide rate per 100,000 population.

More guns = less crime??  Depends who they're pointed at, and whose finger is on the trigger.

Just for a reference. Seems a bit long for a signature, but I guess he feels he needs to make a point.

lol Sandman, just pointing out how long his sig is.

Maybe Beat1e should make his sig "huge" like you did...... be easier to see, then he might look even more anal-retentive

What is needed is a sig line parser.

I am a busybody meddling in issues that have nothing to do with me. Watch me prove it.

Did you enjoy that hyperbolic nonsense, or must I bludgeon you with some more?

There, I warned ya. Truth is, I suffer through cultural noodle-envy. If America can truly be considered "the Policemen of the World", we are resigned to "the Nannies of the World".

"Stop running with those scissors!"

Now that's a sig worthy of Beetle. ;)

Maybe he thinks the "big sig" is his trolling license and registration. After all, you can't have someone trolling without some sort of supervision, can you?

I'm not certain that his disingenuous replies when clearly caught in the act of trolling are allowed by the regulations, however.

Can we get the Home Office to look into this?

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

actualy.... "stop running with those scissors" is much more apprapro in light of the new homicide figures for his country..
lazs

"Homicide in England and Wales includes the offences of murder, manslaughter and infanticide. In 1997, 738 deaths were initially recorded as homicide. This was a 9% rise from 1996, exceeded this century only by 753 in 1995. Around 15% of homicides as recorded by the police are generally reclassified as other offences following police and court action.......

In 1997 around 8% of homicides involved firearms and almost one third a sharp weapon. Firearm use in homicide has fallen over the past few years, in common with firearm use in other offences......

While the most common method of killing in 1997 was with a sharp instrument (just under a third of offences), nine per cent of the 650 homicide victims currently recorded for England and Wales in 1997 were shot.
