Might be in wrong area, but does applink have service in the Mineral Wells or Weatherford area? Or do you know of any ISP's with local dial-ups for the Mineral Wells area?

The reason I ask is my parents have been looking for one and can't find one. I've tried looking, but it makes it difficult since I live near St Louis

Thanks

Hmmm.  Well, if they have Metro access numbers they may be able to access some of the Ft. Worth providers.
Those locations are a long haul from Grapevine, and I would be remiss if I did not say the longer your distance from your ISP, the chances of connections being bad escalate,..for dial-up.
The ISP landscape changes a lot in the Metroplex area, making it very difficult for me to keep up with who is good and who is not.
Most of the quality ISP's in the DF/W area have either been bought or have closed shop, or just stopped offering dial-up access altogether.

I wish I could help.  It is just getting very difficult to say who is good.  Most are pretty shoddy, but cheap, and unfortunately that is what the preponderance of people want these days.
