What do you do while your favorite ride is climbing to altitude?  I set her on auto-climb and kick-back and watch TV...

I fly Lancasters and I normally have a few beers whilst waiting to get to alt.

Problem is I`m so drunk by FL20 that I keep falling off my chair !!

In the unlikely event that I'm climbing over 10k, I swing the chair around and browse the Inet/do some Excel work on the old box.

Home networks are truly awesome-I no longer have to abort mishuns when the wife wants to browse...............

Fortunately, the FM2 is at its best below 10k, and since I fly the FM2 for base defense, the targets come to me and save me the trouble of flying long distances.

But when I'm in my FW190a8, I usually have the History Channel or the Discovery Channel going.  Last night I got so fed up with commercial breaks during Monday Night Football that I decided to do some AH as my primary activity and only watched the bits of the game worth watching during the climb to alt.

I alt-tab and browse the web/do work.  The only thing I can't really do is connect to my office, because activating the VPN severs my connection to HTC.  

Every few minutes, I'll tab back into the game and do a crazy ivan to make sure I'm not about to be blown out of the sky, then I check radar and map position and tab out again.
