So zigrat,

Your telling me that the leaders on the ladder are beating SpitIXs in heads up duels in 190s?

Always remember though, it is a travesty of historical inacuracy and bad modeling if a Spitfire shoots down a single German plane.  They couldn't, you know. [/sarcasm]

If you forget the fact that I've been beaten hands down in 2 of my 3 combats in fw190...(and the one I won I was going to die in next 30 seconds, but the enemy crashed)...
well...is quite embarrasing.

Well considering the pool of who duels and who doesn't I wouldn't consider all spitdweebs to be crumy pilots...

Any 109 pilot could easily convert to the e fighting techniques of the superspit9...

And if one does you might eat thy words...

<S>  I do agree the 190 is tougher bird than most..

When I started my AH account,(yes, I flew some beta too   ) I flew the FW 190 almost exclusively. My intent being if you can master the FW 190, the others are a piece of cake.

HBlair and I are always winging together and he was usually flying a ME-109g10, he asked why I always flew the FW 190, so I told him to try it.....well after a couple 7 kill sorties, he said "Thanks dude! I think I've found my new favorite plane." And now most likely ya'll see him in one, although he does still slip once in a while and fly the 109.

I bought my Saitek USB HOTAS and CH USB Pro rudder pedals ALL BECAUSE OF the FW 190, I flet I needed the extra TRIM buttons and finer control.

The FW 190A8 is a squeak to master, she don't climb fast, she don't turn fast, she really ain't all that pretty dressed up as AH has her, the cockpit art needs total rework,  BUT! OH MY! she is deadly in the BOOM-N-ZOOM and FLICK-N-FLEE, and wanna talk about a steady gun platform? She can rock with the big boys ever time.

I would never take her home to meet momma, but I'd rumble in the back seat with her anyday.

Udie is one kick butt 190 driver. udie got me 3-2. He is one dangerous fella. And yes, 4 out of 5 duels were in the 190.

Them, who are good in german planes, are most probably good in any plane

All the dweebs who flies some Spitfries etc. exclusively, simply lacks with skills and strategic thinking... *muhaha*

Hblair,  those were the hardest duels I've ever had.  The first one was funny    You got lucky after you shot up my elev aileron and engine   That dang prop was right in my gunsight and I couldnt see you to shoot you at d400.

After the 2nd duel I'm thinking "come on udie don't let this guy push outa number 1 and down to number 50.  I REALY needed that victory in fight #3 it un-flusterred me

And the rolling scissors we got into on the last fight. OMG!  Laz, there were no slow turns here.  It was everyting I could do to get my plane flipped back and headed the other way b4 hblair did.  Hehehe we both stalled at the same time ,at 100ft, only I pulled out of mine

Salute hblair!  I think I'll practice a bit before I challenge you again
