Really, the only interesting "crash" videos I've ever seen were strung together on a video called "Challenge of Flight: Final Approach". While it showed many aircraft crashing in various way, like on T/O and landing, it made sure to show that the crash was not fatal or the athe pilot got out alive. They never showed a fatal crash, and the video itself was used by the militry as training aids.

You should see my collection of aircraft incidents and accidents. Matter of fact, you can, if you attend.

It's like the much hyped movie showing a Russian soldier's throat being cut by Chechyan rebels. I've never seen, and never want to see it - yet people are 'fascinated' by it. That was someone's son, brother or father, FFS.

I accidentally downloaded this film on Direct Connect (called very Cool film or something like that, and I was bored)

It seriously disturbed me, no matter whether he was a rapist or not. I've spent a good deal of time trying to convince myself it was a fake. It wasn't, and it really drove home to me what a cruel  place this world can be, and how illusionary my own little bubble of safety is.

Same with a clip aired on Discovery where Mujahedin forces a young Russian soldier to undress and walk three meters away, before shooting him three times each. And then emptying a few rounds in his jerking body.

Those films have profoundly affected me - and not in a positive way. I am repulsed by people who think such things are cool or fascinating.

Plane crashes - there another mechanism kicks in. the same mechanism that allows (for instance) gunship pilots to consider a tank just a target - they really don't see the persons inside the tank. it's just an enemy force that must be destroyed, a tool, not more or less. Still, if someone watches this for enjoyment alone and it was a friend of mine, I'd terminate that friendship.

I do NOT need such people around me.

Didn't know that wulfie. I suppose the fact he is a rapist makes a little easier to stomach, but of course he could have been innocent. What kind of sicko would film it and post it on the net though?

From what you're saying santa, I'm glad I haven't seen it.

That vidoes are a part of Chechen national business... They sell them to different perverts in "free world", and they get money from their Arab sponsors because that films are a proof for their "freedom-fighting" activities.

Funny thing. Andrey Babitskiy, the "journalist" who was in Chechnya illegaly making reports for "freedom-fighters" and was caught by Russian state security and turned into a martyr for "human rights" by pro-Western press had hours of tapes with executions and tortures with him... Investigation showed that he was working for some Euro underground group that also makes child porn...

I doubt that soldier who's head was cut off was a rapist. For Chechen "rebels" any Russian soldier, and generally any Christian doesn't have a right to live. They had lot of fun in 91-94 and 96-99, and now fight for the right to murder, torture and rob.

BS. Babitsky is a Russian who happens to have seen the real side of Chechnya, unlike the average Russian, who is spoon fed the government line or has been unfortunate enough to have read from the thousands of "Dear X, your son died for a worthy cause..." letters.

Show me evidence of the link between him and child porn.
