I've got an idea for a new arean.

Settings: like main.

changes: disable auto mute, no mute rights for anyone.

Let the players decide where they want to play.

Or... we could create a chat room. Later mods would add aircraft... after that, we can add ground vehicles and ships. Imagine!

If you cannot play without getting muted perhaps the problem is not in the game.

I have never been muted in the MA. This is not a problem as far as I am concerned. The lack of mute on range vox IS a problem. There should be no reason to be stuck listening to the juvinile choice of language spewing out of the speakers from immature players of all ages.

HT put a squelch on range vox!

Mav, he was referring to the auto-mute which is well known for muting people for typos and even for properly-written sentences that have NO vulgarity or such in them at all.

This brings up another idea. An option that would disable muting at the receiving end (reading everything although someone is muted) had the same effect and no different arena needed.

Range squelch might be nice if you have kids around the house - obviously some of the stuff you may not want them hearing - but the squelch feature should be sufficient to determine what you see and what you dont see. Honestly, if there is anyone actually offended by typed out vulgarity - you can A. Squelch the individual B. Squelch the whole channel or C. Go Mute Nazi on the BBS. Which would you think is most effective?

Well said Mav. Some people just dont get it.

I find it hard to believe that HTC would waste valuable game development time to code an arena like that. Its already pathetic that they had to spend some of that valuable time coding on a word filter in the first place.
