You know, I find this quite amusing. We have quite intelligent people doing the "us vs them" thing.
Smart, bright people grossly stereotyping those with different beliefs.
And let it be said; I find socialism abhorrent. My personal view is the state should be kept to a minimum, and that *I* should decide whether to help other people - I should not be forced under threat of violence (as is the case in this socialistic country).
I am just a bit disappointed with the "they're libs, they're weak hearted, have secret agendas and are liars" and "they're ratpublicans, war horny religious bigots with no understanding of reality".
Would be sorta cool if people started addressing the issues directly, and not just attach pointless meaningless labels.
Now I understand fully that it gets tiring to see 'the other side' spout their complete unabated unadulterated nonsense. Am just wondering if it isn't possible to debunk the aforementioned nonsense without resorting to the libs vs rats game? The world ain't totally binary after all.
