I'd love the B-25 with the 75mm tank gun

Hs 129B-3/Wa Waffentrager - carried BK 7.5 or BK 3.7 as well as 2 x MG151/20 & 2 x MG131 (MG131 were removed if 75mm gun was installed)...about 20 MPH slower than B-25H (the version w/ 75mm M-4 cannon) but much smaller and more manuverable

In airbattle situations Russians were far more numerous, thus the GL’s greater manoeuvrability became almost meaningless. The greatest difficulty was in getting rid of the enemy after the battles. This was the main reason for the great losses of GL’s.

Climb performance was a way to disengage or to reach a new attack position. "Simply telling" is one of the most stupid claims I've seen for a long time. You know, in real life, orders and assumptions just don't always work. And now, when engaged the Gladiators lacked climbing, speed and diving ability to disengage which led to severe losses at times.

As per fighter tactics your best chances to disengage/reach new attack position was either to dive or climb. Diving only gets you away. Climbing allows you to attack again.
