its drive'n me crazy i cant get it to look like ones in pictures if anyone can help me out like maby just a hint on how to do it ... would be nice

It is too plain - not enough color and the front end looks like someone just took a saw and chopped it off. I am not saying it is bad, but work on it and it would be pretty awesome!

and i just did the other side .... im gonna do the wings like the body now i like the way the wings look myself but they didnt come out right when finished

k ive reduced the wings to 256x256 and darkened them up a bit ... any better?

your best bet to get the correct color is to take a picture of something with bare metal then using gimp to get the right hex address then doing what you normally do with some variations of color

K.   had gimp got rid of it i got PSP7 and phptoshop 7 now ... dont see why ppl like PSP7 but i might find a use for it someday

i got that site but now that i looked at it again i found a usefull way to do rivets ...thanks

Frenchy ive banged my head somany times i forgot the stuff i figured out :p   ...hmmmmm... sure send it to me i might be able to figure out what im do'n wrong .....thanks

maby i should focus on 1 skin at a time i got 4-5 go'n right now plus im try'n to make basic templates for all the planes and a web site for skins :D

Go for subtle on the metal effect. Right now it looks more like a diamond with all those panel facets. Small variations in the color along with thinner panel lines would really make it look good.

As for PSP7, I use it all the time and regularly come up with stuff like this...

i dont know ho wto use it and couldent get anyone to help me when i got it so thats why i dont use it ... im not say'n i know hot to use photoshop either but im gett'n the hang of it
