Why don't people use the recorder?

Please don't post about hacking and cheating on this BBS UNLESS you have a film PROVING it.  It is all rhetoric if you post about someone hacking, and you have no film or snapshots.  I've only seen ONE case of hacking (over 1 year ago) and it was filmed.  The players were ejected.

Not everyone thinks to turn on their recorder every time they fly. I use to but it took to much of my hard drive.

If you don't have the recorder on then you don't always have time to do so when you see something strange.

I turn the film on every time I see something suspicious..

Like yesterday when I shot a chog untill it had no engine, wings or rear fuselage.. He just kept on flying and turning.

In the end, it was just another connection problem. The net sucks - at least with my ISP.

Normally, I turn on the recorder any time I anticipate joining a fight.  I go through them when I have the spare time (and am tired of being shot down).  Of the hundreds and hundreds of films I've taken, I've never seen a strange occurrance that couldn't be explained by standard lag/packet loss.

Of course, it'd be nice if we got the flight recorder to work EVERY TIME again, but that's a different matter.

Its good, at least i can now go bad and check out whothe hell shot me..

BTW  how can you delete films from the file??
do i hvae to go into the HTC folder and do in manualy?

Yes, under FILMS folder.  You can also take in-flight screen shots from your film by either pausing, or just playing the film and using ALT-S.

 It's like an encounter with an UFO. U see something strange, gape and awe about it, get a suspicious feeling+big impression..

 then you realize you forgot to turn on the "REC" button   Like that one incident where I witnessed a P-38 diving to catch our goon.. oooh.. the P-38's outnumbered, probably he gave up on his life and determined to sacrifice his life for the cause.. boooom, he comes down.. oops, the goon takes one step aside .. 'twas like one of those 'Tom 'n Jerry' cartoons I saw.. but I digress...  

 (personally, I don't use it much since all the recordings are of me doing reallll stupid and kissing the ground spectacularly   )

 I think however low the possibility that one's telling the truth, people should try to listen and comment sincerely. Not just wave them away "Bah~ no proof. Yer lying" I think that's sort of over-defensive attitude towards the game AH and its community. I understand meetings with continuous spawn of trolls would eventually tire even a saint, but guys, the proofless post actually might be a sincere post requesting for help or advice, or comments.

 Being nice may look like a pansy, but at least the conscience(and the final taste of it all) remains clear
