I do like the proposed Pacific setup you have there Sabre.

I would like to see it run sometime, but I think the Summer or Fall of '44 over Western Europe is needed, and soon.

It would be nice if we had some late war Army fighters that faught the P51's in China like the Ki 84. As it is now all we have realy are the Lateer Navy Fighters which realy did not see a lot of action aganst the P51's.

Brady.
I would like to see the KI-84 as well. To tell you the truth, I'd like to see the N1K2 in more PTO setups since there is no KI-84. 3 to 1 odds against the Japanese pilots, then complaining about the N1K2 is ludicrus. If your not going to balance the side with the least numbers, you shouldnt squeak about what planes they fly.  This I won't fly in the CT if the N1k2 is in the setup, but i'll damn sure seal club if it isnt , is total crap. If maybe the N1K2 was in more setups, more people would fly Japanese, and not everyone would flock to the Allied planes.

How bout we settle on the pac setup he is offering for this coming week, then the nice 43 or 44 setups offered above?  Can we all agree on that?  I think both will be winners, we have not seen the niki in months!

Sorry I haven't answered sooner.  I had  some PC problems of my own, and haven't been at my regular office at work the last couple of days.  I understand everyone's sentiments regarding a late war ETO set up.  To be honest, it's not the late war planes I dislike, but the fact we don't have a decent CT terrain for it.  10Bears' Germany terrain looks good, but doesn't have good airfield density and dispersion for CT play.  Plus, we've just had two weeks of Luftwaffe-centered fighting...I just thought it was time to go back to the PTO (2 non-ETO's, 1 PTO).  I also noted that we very seldom have either the N1K, P-38, or P-47 in many set ups, and thought it would be a fun set up for all.

Frankly,  I was more worried people would be upset if I ran Finland-Russia, since the planeset is so similar to the current one.  Anyway, I'm  going to go with this PTO set up if Kanttori's terrain isn't ready on time.  For what it's worth, there's several good terrains coming up (Po Valley in Italy, for one) that will be the perfect place to pit the '44 a/c against each other.

I hope people will have fun with it.  I will, and will probably fly Japanese almost exclusively.

Respectfully,

So in "Plain English" you just told us, very politely, that we aren't going to get a ETO set-up.

ergRTC, sabre's curnent CT set up has the George in it,what I ment is that the George did not fight the P51 hardely at all compared to the Ki 84 and since that is the case P51's  while comparatively rare in the Pacific are not matched aganst it to much set up wise.
