Its dead on, whether you think it harsh or not. When you flew nav planes it was

"Whens the next Pac setup"

Folks like me would say

"Pac set ups are crap given the current ijn/ija planeset up"

Reply would be

"Its been 3 weeks since last pac, we are tired of eto, I dont think its too much and its just for 1 week."

We got a few more IJN planes

"Whens the early pac set up?"

"Its been 3 weeks since last pac set up"

Then it was

"IJN/IJA pilots are screwed due to the late us planeset"

Nows its

"We have gone too long with out a late war eto"

I did an 8th airforce setup. It kicked arse. What did I read on the forum.

"Can we have a pac set up"

I can punt the threads up.........

I read your reply asking for a an ETO when sabre announced the possibilities of his next set up. Its no coincidence this thread came up. ETO isnt ignored there is just several new maps that could come out soon. Brady has passed this info along.

Well there were plenty of "Certain Axis Squads" that carried the ijn/ija load long before ya got here. When we had 2 planes vrs the entire late war us planeset. Guys in my squad did.

We rarely fly the ct but if we did it would be axis.

Yeah they sure are............

Everyone enjoys set ups especially when your own squads plane set is available. Thats not the point I was trying to make. Anyway the earliest p47 we have is a d11 which is a 1/44 plane. What german plane in this set up would match it? Too early for a g10 or d9 so its '42 g6 and '43 a5. IF you go late war German planes would own. a8 d9 g10 262 etc.........

you should come back to the CT, reading you site you seem like a well organized squad. Would be great for the competition, even though I am just a lowly cadet and would probably get shot down.

I hope you guys dont think I am harpin on yas. Its great you all are dedicated to the ct and you make it a better place. All the guys that fly there are are the best of AH.

I just hope you realise that for evry one guy who suggests a set up 4 others suggest why theirs would be better. If you can get brady to re run that 8th af set up I ran I will be waiting over france in a g6 for your pesky jugs.............

When Jester and I came over from Brand W we immediatley started checking out the CT, because of the historical type setups. We wanted to start a squad and make it a CT based squad in hope of attracting more people. So enter VF-27. Your damn right we ask for the planes we like to be in the setups. We don't get them every week, every other week or even every other month. So yeah after 2 months we're biting to fly P-47s. Jester would never have left VF-27, if there were enough Japanese to fight against. So I pulled him away from VF-27 to help Oboe and I get the 27th Sentai rolling. Neither Jester or myself came to AH to fly Axis planes, we had more than enough of it in our Warbirds days, and came here to break away from the JG life , and fly Allied. We hung in as long as we could flying AXIS only being it LW, or Japanese, or Italian. we looked up and said hey it's happened again we're stuck in Axis, and things werent going well in 27th sentai, having a couple of guys who really don't like flying Japanese. So we figured what the hell we came to fly Allied, why should we fly the Axis planes when we don't want to? Nobody else is in a squad that acts as flying targets for two of the bigger squads in CT. Jester loves the USN/USMC planes. I love the USAAF planes, so again I got him to join me in the 325thFG. Now heres the thing we could have just turned our backs on the Axis guys and the 27th sentai, but it was Jester who decided the right thing to do would be go ahead and fly Jap during PTO to help keep things ballanced. So again here is a guy willing to do things he really doesnt want to, just to help out the CT. Also Wotan, Jester is another one of those guys thats wants the Luftwaffe to get 190Ds, TA-152's, and Ar234s, and even the ME-262, in these setups.The CT could use more guys like Jester/Andijg. It's not wrong to want certain aircraft or setups, especially if it's been over 2 months since they have been in the CT. I would also like to know when did it become a rule you need a new map to run a middle to late war ETO? Those of you that tell people to go to MA to fly late model planes, sure why don't you go there and fly early model planes? The reason people want to see late war planes in CT is because they get to fight their historical enemies, not each other as in MA.
This turned out to be longer and darker than I intended, my biggest point is, there is nearly 40 people flying in three different squads in CT. These squads were built, and shaped by Jester. He also recruited, and has been a major salesman of the CT to every member of those squads. The guys been nothing but gracious, and a good friend to everyone fortunate enough to get to know him.

Okay Wotan, I write this and I see you've responded a little friendlier, while I was writing this . So now I'm slapping at what I feel is a nice guy. I got crackerjack timing.

Jesters good people, I just don't like if somebody taking shots at him;)

Of course he is being civil, polite, and friendly, and Lowes done it again. Yes Wotan I am an ass, I was guarding my XO. One of these days there will be a mood BBS so you know if the guys pissed and coming for ya or just making a point.

Again Wotan my apologies, all I saw was a friend under whaty I percived to be an attack.

Just came out of CT, with the P-38 it's just another slap the jap setup. Hawk, maybe we ought to take everyones advice, fly MA this week. It's better than doing this , and being pissed all week.

But to keep the record straight, I was at A1 alone enjoying my M16 shooting stuff when "they" came after me. It just so happened I logged on Knight but anyway....your right lets go main.

I can see it now, furballing will equal kills both sides (as always) and it will be called a Balanced Arena. P-47s and P-38s will be called "Runners", or "Vulchers", maybe even milk runners and those that are stupid enough to slow down in a P-47 or 38...refer to runner remark...hehehe" will get shot down by the N1k1 and it will be called a "dweeb ride"...hell you know the typical CT stuff....and I will be called a "low life" M16 jock or a vulching tard!
