You know what else I thought would be kewl.

And I know this could be some what tough to do politically.

But if there is to be a U.N. Island.

Someplace Neutral, Please Model this, for me.

A ring of flags, of all the countries that fought in World War II.  And have them all flying at half mast.

Just a thought.

Well I was hoping that this thread would inspire some great posts...but apparently it has the kuddies.  No one wants to post on it.  So this is my last attempt at punting it to the top...wonder if anyone will bite?

Hat trick sets the hook.

I've already done a brief explanation on what happens on the Fourth Down on American Football.

And you haven't read all the other posts out there.  You haven't plaguerized <sp?> the Air Sea Rescue stuff at all.

Nor come to the defense of my "Flying Tiger" on the side of the P-40"C."

But I will Fish Punt this back up for you.

OFF LINE TRAINNING

New guys need an aid to get them up to the basic level needed to takeoff and land.
Tutorials to teach basic flight maneuvers: loops, rolls, split-s, etc.
teach advanced maneuvers: wingovers, stalls, spin/recovery, etc.
teach basic combat maneuvers: lead/pure/lag pursuits and turns, barrel rolls.

use canned "follow my control movements" type of tutorials. Starting with "hands off" to let the AI fly the first try.

Teach gunnery - most of these new guys dont have a clue.

A guncamera is required, for the newbies (and us ol'farts too).

It's not spiffy bells and whisles stuff I know but,  If an effort to train up new guys is not taken the player base is never going to expand fast enough to keep all of us happy.  ie. the company goes under and we cant get our fixes in anymore.

crutch: Great points about off line training! That way new folks, like me, will have a better understanding of basic flight maneuvers before they go in the online training areas.
Maybe a few cool easter eggs to find too.
