Hi!

Wouldnt it be kewl if you limited the handles to 4 characters and enabled the option for using numbers  

Talk about flashback hehe.

I think we outdid your suggestion.  IDs can be between 2 and 8 characters.  You can use any combination of numbers and upper and lower case letters in the ID.

I will announce now that people with names such as qX6bLw2P will NOT be getting 6 calls from me.

I die too often as it is trying to find six lowercase letters.

Preference however will be given to people with names consisting simply of a string of 6's.

hehe, I use to run into that problem too, glars, so I usually just shorten their name, and hope they get it.... if not, well at least I tried.  
ex: rj was short for ramjet, m was short for monkey, and people would use n8 when calling my 6, which was quite often.

Yes natedog that does work but you just make sure the routes into AH are good so I don't get a "G 666" after I'm back in the tower like I do in The Other Game

There's a whole bunch of "eagle" variants out there, but I've only seen ONE other "eagl" out there, the guy who was using "eag[one]".  I dueled for the ident and won, so I'd like to stick with it

Well one of the things I'm looking foward to in AH is the oppertunity to finaly get Sharky as my callsign.  I've been Sharky to my squad since I joined VMF-214 (about 3 years now)and would really like to have it as my ID in the game. (I'm a CPO in the Navy so you can see how the squad came up with Sharky    Besides noone can ever figure what "ftgc" stand for
