Why No missions at night?
« on: December 06, 2002, 01:10:06 PM »
I often wondered about this. Why does'nt AH allow missions to be set up in the planner at night?

Is this a programming issue, or are they simulating something?

its a simulation.

you are not supposed to be pretending to fly then.  you are supposed to be pretending to sleep.

i just lay my head down on the desk til morning, and then pretend to eat breakfast.

I didn't even know that was a restriction in the Mission Planner.  I usually just do gv stuff in the darkness.  Gotta love the M16 infrared gunsight.

I don't know.... but I suspect strange things could happen to a Mission running during the night time, when the time warps from 18:30 to 05:30..... so to avoid potential problems, Missions are disabled between 18:00 and 06:00?  :)
