Curval, I live near Shea and 32nd St in Phoenix.

About 3 miles from me, the speed limit is 65 on the 51 Freeway.

This is near the middle of Phoenix, 6th largest city in the US.

After about 15 miles from me, the speed limit is 75.

YOU and your source are both wrong, what do you want me to do about it?

You stated in your post that the speed limit in the US was 55, and you listed a source.

The source was not accurate and you didn't know that.

So, your statement that the speed limit was 55 was not correct, thus you were wrong based on fact, regardless of the source you chose to site.
