May it live in infamy!

Salute to all who fought for our freedom.

I just watched "Tora Tora Tora";
A6M replicas vulching P-40 mock-ups, big fire-ball explosions and Hollywood one-liners.  :)

The US withdrew all really expensive stuff from pearl habor. The plan was to make japan to attack and start the war by giving them a good opportunity. It worked nicely.

YMMV.

Nice troll.  Utterly tasteless and sure to stir up some hell.  I'd give it a 9.

Heres an interesting tidbit- U.S. radar operators actually watched the first wave of Japanese aircraft on radar.  However, they thought it was a flight of B17s.

Sheesh, Happy, as in; have a nice day and remember Pearl Harbor.  It's not like we all have to bow our heads in sorrow all day long.  You are still allowed to enjoy life on the aniversary of a somber day.

Man, were all getting a bit sensetive over semantics.

Personally, I just got back from taking my wife and daughter to the Nutcracker.  Before that I put my snow tires on my car.  I hope no one is offended by these two activities as well.  :)

Yes eskimo, I have been saying that for years to people, often they are suprised to hear it, forgeting it is December 7. My intention of coures in saying it is so that they remember those from that time and houner their memorie.

IMAX, attack of the clones ehh, Maybe I should check that out....

I'll let you know how it is...it runs until early January.  The only down side is OMSI only sells tickets for it on-site - fortunately we had someone headed up to Portland a couple of weeks ago who purchased them for us ahead of time.

You have removed all doubt anyone had that you are an uneducated twit.

There is nothing in this world more moronic than a conspiracy theorist. Well, maybe that tv show "The View" with Barbara.  Close.

Anyways...ya, time warping aliens assasinated Kennedy because he knew the truth about Peal Harbor and was going to spill the beans, PT109 was there that day you see...and the Aliens knew that earths time line would change if the world found out about Pearl Harbor...there was a saucer of course (got to have one) which is what caused the radar contact prior to the raid...

Did I mention there was a saucer?

Frik me.

May the eternal crew of the Arizona RIP.

I was watching the discovery channel the other day when they were explaining what actually happened to the Arizona December 7th.  Not sure who had said it on the program, but it went along the lines like this, there are almost a thousand men inside that ship, they never knew what hit them, who hit them, or why.

never thought about that before.
