B-26 configured to carry torpedos, so we can get them all shot down in a Midway Scenario.

V1 would be cool, so we could tip them.

Only reason I see to have V2 is so we could strafe them on the launch pad.

What was the little curtis biplane the Chinese had, the Japanese just loved shooting them down. P-26?

Some excellent suggestions. I'll second the calls for the Buffalo and the MiGs & Lavochkins. Just for the heck of it, how about the navalized Bf-109 and Ju 87 to operate from the *Graf Zeppelin*.  

And no planeset is complete without the Stringbag, Falco and Gladiator. At least that way, if the worst happens I can still get some sort of "struts & wires" fix, although I'll prbably still be seriously pining for my beloved Spad.

I think the world owerflows with Spit, Hurri, Zekes, P51, 109, 190 etc.....
It will be nice and, above all, historically correct to have some other planes, especially italian planes:
the fighters Fiat CR42, G55, Macchi MC200-MC202-MC205, Reggiane RE2005 and the buffs Siai Marchetti SM79 (the famous "Damned Hunchback") and Cant Z1007.
Then i would say the Gloster Gladiator, Bristol Beaufighter, Bristol Beaufort, Bristol Blenheim, Fairey Swordfish for the Mediterranean front and the russian planes for the eastern front.
And finally I would say: Heinkel He111, Dornier Do17/Do217, Junkers Ju88/Ju188, Arado Ar234, Dornier Do335, Ta152, Heinkel He219, Henschel Hs129.

A-20!  It and its early war variants and export versions would be a great light bomber/attack A/C for the game.

Versatile, many loadouts, many nations used it.

I would fly the PBY especially if it had prop and mixture controls and a way to feather the prop on a shot out engine! If I have to choose just one though... it would be the 0S-2 Kingfisher :-)

I read the first few pages of a Clive Cussler Book once, and Dirk Pitt was flying a PBY when someone in a WWI Biplane fighter starts attacking them.  Well old Dirk gets a 303, or 308 Rifle and sticks it out the back of the PBY and shoots down the WWI Biplane fighter.  So the PBY can be dangerous if in the right hands.

Do you understand why I don't read Clive Cussler.
