The type of sim this is. In the main screen of the Aces High web site this game is called a flight sim with WWII vintage aircraft nowhere does it says WWII combat flight sims. There fore if it flew and it can be modeled accurately then lets have it. Why limit this to a narrow time in history and shorten its growth potential. For those of you that say these super plane will rule the game I dont see that in WB when the new ones come along, On the last day of TOD I still see p40's zero's and others. By saying a plane cant qualify because it did not see action is being very narrow minded, if t was made in that time it is VINTAGE WWII.

Considering this I d be happy with just the basics for starters:
First Plane set (1943ish)

B-17
B-25
He 111
Ju 88
Me 109 G (dunno which exact number)
FW-190 A4 (A6)
P-51 B (possibly with spit hood)
F6F or F4U (one blue plane should be nough for starters   )
P-38 J
Spitfire Mk. 9 and/or 5
Yak-9
A6M5a
Ki-61 or Ki 43
Oh yeah and as an extra special wish:
A ground attack plane like the IL-2 Sturmovik, or that german 2 engined Schlachtflugzeug..err He 129, Hs 129?
But preferrably the IL-2 cause it was the better plane and produced in far greater numbers.

Can t wait to see if I guessed better than in the "name the bullet" contest in the O-Club.

You asked: C.202 "Folgore", C.205 "Veltro", ah dont forget the He-111 and at least one lite RAF bomber.

Sascha,

Nice plane set there with one glaring problem. For a 1943 planeset to be representative of the USAAF, they need the P47 not the P51B which didn't see service until very late in 1943. The Jug took the fight to the Luftwaffe long before the Pony.

Sascha's list is nice.  I agree with Crapgame about the 47.  But keep the 51 in, just make it an Allison Mustang.  With low-level speed and maneuverability almost matching a Spit, it would be a really good arena plane.
