Real SBD pilot

A friend of the family flew SBDs in WW2 for the USMC. Next week he will be visiting for a few days.

Obviously because of the venue of AH many are interested in WW2 history. If you have any questions for him send them to me and I will ask him for you.

I am going to try to fly a few missions with him next to me and get his comments.

If he flew SBDs and is your friend you should ask him if he would be willing to speak at a Con.  I for one would love to hear what he has to say about his experiences.  At a minimum could you get him to post some of his stories here?
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

Sure, what I will do is tape some of the stories and post them.
