Alright i know you guys have some great classic cars out there so lets see them!
Post pic's or specs of your "CLASSIC CAR".


I'll post mine later but i have a 1968 ford Falcon furta. 200hp stright 6 ,42k orig miles, pea soup green. disk breaks, PS, PB. I'll get the specs later.

I also have a 1961 austin Taxi in the first phase of restoring. Im going slow due to the cold weather and fixing up my house.

Its 68 GTO.

I just put my old motor in it. It is a Pontiac 400 bored .060 with forged pistons, I had them dished to run on 92 octane gas. It is running #16 big valve heads at 9.65 to 1 compression, it was balanced and blue printed and I had the crank cross drilled for better oiling.

It has a turbo 400 tranny and 3.55 rear gears.

I have put in a new radiator.

It has 11 inch from disk brakes.

Right now it is positively covered in dirt! lol I have not had time to wash it since we moved.

I also got tires and rims for the back that fit, and have those stupidly wide ones in storage.

I still have not figured out the hidden headlights or gotten a radio.

I want one of these BAD.. I am trying to get the GF to trade her Jeep in on one.

This isn't ours, but will give you an idea.  It's a 1950 Chrysler New Yorker.  It was bought new by my great-grandmother.  Our's is black with an emerald green interior.  It has been fully restored and has less than 40,000 miles on it, about 10,000 put on by my dad.  It has a straight 8 and a Fluid Drive Transmission.

It is 5 miles of black paint and chrome with enough room for you and 25 of your closest friends to party in.  :D

The other is a 1978 BJ40 Toyota LandCruiser.  This is the Canadian-only version with a factory 3 liter diesel.  It's been fully restored, which was a massive squeak.  Becuase it was sold only in Canada, all the parts were metric.  IE, we had to special order parts, none of the stock US Cruiser parts fit.  Even the door mirrors wouldn't match up!  But this thing will off-road with the best of them.  It's not fast, but has torque to spare.  And you can run the A/C in the summer all day long  :D

BTW, our's is green with a white top.

Man, I never appreciated big brakes (I have 12.4 inch rotors) until on two separate occasions I had a deer bolt out in front me me commuting to work. :eek:

Very important.

Stock disk in 68 where 9 inches and sucked..

since the words "classic car" were in bold and caps I would assume the you meant real classic cars.  By the most defenitions none orf the cars shown are considered "classic".

Not sure what a classic car is.  I believe vintage is a car 30 years old.  Here's my everyday driver:

1973 Olds 98
Mileage---91,000
Original 455 Rocket V8 engine

I think stock was 9.5".    Killer car!! Id love to have a GTO. Right now Ive got a poor man's substitute.

Mine is a 67 Le Mans  400" .030 over (Q-jet- 6x-4 heads w/ Ferrera valves   milled .050" on intake and deck gives about 9 to 1 compression- 212/224 cam- Ram Air exhaust manifolds-recurved HEI), Th200-4r trans, 12 bolt posi w/ 3.36 gears. Brakes are still stock all around (you're right they SUCK). Upgraded suspension with polygraphite bushings and 1.25" sway bar up front and 1" out back with boxed control arms. Ill try to post some pics later.  PONTIACS RULE!!

dvader... no... I am merely saying that a lot of people think that any car that is old or well kept up is a "classic"  that is not the case.

Most of the cars shown are "collectable" and or vintage.

A classic car is a milestone car.  The XKE shown is a "classic"  A 100 4 Austin healey would be considered a classic say.  

It is fine to use the word "classic" to describe a lot of collectable cars but if you bother to put it in caps and bold... it just seems to me to denote actual regestered classic cars.

Who registers these cars Lazs? Is there a list of "Classics" somewhere?

I imagine it would include some newer (1960's or even 70's) cars too, like:

DeLorean
1964-1/2 Mustang
Ford Pantera (1970's)
1964 Shelby Cobra  (drooool)

any others I haven't thought of?
