Author Topic: Can we change the red phantom p51s when logging in to something else? (Read 685 times)

Many times I have logged in, tried to takeoff before all the data has loaded and exploded on takeoff due to ramming a phantom p51. Or worse, just spawning inside of one. All cons, even friendly GVs, are enemy p51s until all data is finished transferring. Usually most of the cons on the runway turn into friendlies if given enough time.

How about changing the default to green (friendly) 51s? Or better yet green 190s?

Sure, I could wait the 30 seconds till everything loads, but I still forget to sometimes when I hear "12 b17s over a48!" and frantically type .move 48 and up a g10.

Also, the newbies must get awfully confused by this.

yet another reason the bishops are favored by HTC. Those phantom p51s are bishops!!!! It's not fair!

Ely p51 1 the 1st plane and the bish ups are the 1st country. Its your fe thats updating so it picks the 1 vehicle and 1st country.

HT didnt specifically model it so you would see bish p51s when you log in.

If you move to another field as soon as you log in, it stops the red 51 menace.

Yep, I know this. What I am asking for is for is maybe a workaround in the code to keep this from happening. As in make plane 1 country 1 some invisible object that can't be collided with (I'm no programmer, just giving a roundabout example).

The P51 was the 1st plane made and the bishops are the first country and the 1st of 1st you get red P51's all over the place.

After loggin on i once saw am M16 taxi down the runway and lift off and begin a slow left banking turn and disappear over a hill. It was the funniest thing ive seen yet. I wish i filmed it.

Just keep an eye on the center of the map until the dar bar stops updating all the logged in users. Patience will pay off in the end.
