USAF give SS to F-15E aircrews for CAS with gun.  Who said fighters (or bombers) don't need a gun, or strafe anymore?

hehe. why is it "Radio failure" always seems to occur to people later recognized for bravery?
These guys encountered it when trying to deal with command, yet from the press report were able to bring LGBs on target within 200m of friendlies.
They're still trying to figure out how it could have been that all those firefighters died in tower 1 after the evac order was given.  Evidently, there were plenty of radio failure reports, yet the repeater they were using has perfect recordings.

Yeah I love "radio failure".  I've had "radio failure" in AH scenarios.  :)
