Kill markings

I know this has been brought up before, here's a new twist.

How about your highest landed amount of kills go on the side of your a/c for the rest of the tour?

Fighter/Bomber sorties only. Would be more for friendies then enemies, though it would be cool seeing another plane with a ton of markings on it and knowing you're dead

I don't know if it's worth the effort.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen an enemy aircraft's squad logo.
Petals floating by,
      Drift through my woman's hand,
             As she remembers me-

However I can count many times where I've seen a friendly squad's one

What I cant wait for is subtle skin themes that squads can have. Different tail colors , stripe bands, etc etc.

It'll take forever to get but that would give me such a kick. It'd take a rework of the game engine I figure though because of how skins are used/displayed.

I'd rather it be related to your current kill streak, not you best ever landed kills.

Perhaps that would mean updating it while in flight.  A bit gamey, but for many pilots they woulnd't get any markings otherwse.

I'm wondering why the actual victory markings appropriate to the scheme modeled isn't actually on the aircraft.  None for Preddy and that was a big part of what made that plane look the way it did.  Many of the other aircraft in here actually wore victory markings as well.
