Watched a show on Serbian television the other day. It was about Moscow people.

They interviewed a cab driver, who then told he spent some time in Chechnya.

What he said was that, in his opinion, Russians had no right to be there. He mentioned how Russians would drive with tanks over their own dead soldiers. They couldn't pick them up because of snipers so they were driving with tanks over dead bodies until there was nothing left. This way Chechens would have nothing to show as trophys.

War is always brutal. The Russians are at "war" with Islamic extremists in very much the same way as the USA.
Now Chechnya used to "belong" to the USSR, and their borders are adjactent to Russia, - their style of fighting is via Terrorism.
I think that if Mexico was in a similar position, sending terrorists over the US borders, - blowing up things, assassinating people, and taking hostages and so on, the US would be all over Mexico.
(just for a geographical comparison)
However the Fighting style is different. The Russians have a reputation for roughness, while the US try to keep their face as the good guy, with their high precision weapons. Not to mention their forces having the international press on their heels......
And Boroda, you know perfectly well that a bomb from the stratosphere can be and mostly IS more accurate than the Russian artillery........
