World citizen?

What is with all this let be one big happy planet and not worry about our nations needs just the world stuff?

Why is this pushed as a good thing?

I want my government to worry about it's own people first and then the rest of the world, and I do not want to be a World citizen, I am proud to be a citizen of the good old united states.

When you're on the top rung of the ladder, there are two types of people that exist on the ladder:

~Those who are willing to reach down and help those on the lower rungs up (Like Republicans)
~Those who want to reach up the ladder and pull those up there down(Democrats)

I suspect the New World Order (EU) operates much like the 2nd example.

because we as humans are the only other thing we know for sure in the entire universe. these artificial divisions are kinda silly really.

it's funny that in science fiction we always idealize a unified planet "oh look captian there's flubar, the home of the flubarians"
not "oh look captain there's flubar, the home of the gits, clops, molgars(who hate the clops), bildors.....)

it's like 3 people being shipwrecked on a small rock sticking out of the ocean and drawing lines across it saying this is my part of the rock and that's yours!

in otherwords, when we are fully upright someday, the physical border of our planet will seem more reasonable than the artificial borders we've created......a representative government would work just as well for the world as it has for america.

Sure it may.

But not right now.

The a good portion of the rest of the world is FUBAR, and frankly I do not want to have anything to do with them.

When every nation has there problems squared away then maybe, but until then I am tired of the U.S. having to step in and help, with out money and the lives of our men.

The world loves to hate us, well I say let them and stop helping other non treaty nations and see how they like it.

Yep no way do I want FUBAR people from FUBAR countries voting on laws that I am going to have to obey.

take away our rights, stable military and police and you have a fubar'd country.

add those things to most any other country that's dirt poor and ruled by warlords and stocked with ignorant people and those  people will more than likely stop worrying about allah or doing the rain dance or whatever and start worrying about making money like everyone else.

there's no time like the present. it is a stretch from the way we were all raised to think so i don't expect a lot of support but the world doesn't accept things like this in one grand swoop- it happens one person at a time until we are all ready.
