Since upgrading to 1.11 I'm unable connect to the host. I get "Connect error - could not connect to host - Do you want to try Alt route?". I did the online upgrade from 1.01 patch 7 to 1.11 and when the new version failed to connect I downloaded and installed the full version of 1.11 and had the same problem. (game runs fine offline) I thought my password might be wrong so I requested Resend Password but got the same connect error. I uninstalled 1.11 and reinstalled 1.01 patch 7 and went online and requested Resend Password and it connected without any errors and sent my password. I then allowed the upgrade to be downloaded again , installed it and my connect problems returned. Bottom line is I can connect to the host with 1.01 patch 7 and I can't with 1.11 or 1.11 patch 1.
I use 56k dial-up and except for the upgrade to AH nothing else on the computer has been changed. My ping times to AH average in the 130's but I'm not so sure the trouble is on my end or the route between my computer and the host. Seems to be with version 1.11. Any ideas? Is there something else I should be trying?
