Change of subject, Hostile Shores flyers please comment

After flying the first 3 frames I like the way they have it set up.  With the Dar bar gone, and radar range at realistic levels.  I also love the icon settings.  It is awesome not knowing if you are sneaking up on a friendly or a bad guy. I wish the MA was setup this way.  What do you all think, a time for change?

Won't happen.  You'd have new players getting jumped while trying to figure out their views, logging off in disgust.

I do love no icons (except close in due to resolution restrictions) but IMO, they don't necessarily have their place in a MA forum (from the developers point of view)

Aye on the icon settings. First frame I got at least two kills from planes non suspecting I was there, and in Main arena that would've not happened.


And I tend to like the radar as it is (if you make the under 500feet planes invisible for bar dar), but I'd have no problems with it set as in HS.

however as Rispnort says, I dont hold my breath on the matter  

Maybe with an Historical arena........hint hint

No bleedin chance.

I HATE close range icons.  Ya simply dont know what the bloody hell is going on when IRL you CAN ID cons at medium range, not in this game....

I *would* like to see a range/alt calculation......IE cons at high alt have a longer icon range than cons at low alt.  Yup, I know at 500 ft your icon range is 3.5k but I dont think that's enough.  

500ft   -  1.5k
2000ft  -  3.5k
5000ft  -  6k
10000ft -  8k
20000ft -  12k


That would be much more like it.....if ya dont wanna get spotted.....fly low.  If ya wanna be an alt-monkey.....you get seen further away.
