2*190F8's, proper way to kill both FH's in one drop

Well, flew with Ziggy again. Most of you have noted that he's a damned fine pilot. if anyone get a chance to wing up with him; take it.

This time our targets where *both* fh's at a small field. We were intent on shutting it down on one bomb pass, dropping all eggs. Total amount of ordnace would be equivalent to roughly 2900-3000 pounds, for both fh's.

Once again, notice the very compact drop. All bombs hitting within maybe 1-2 seconds of each other, with Zig trailing d350-d500 behind me until the drop. Lotta acks and Spits, but who cares?

Get 1 P-38, it can carry 3k equivalent of ord.

Go to a small airfield, drop all ord in the middle of the 2 FH's (2-3 passes required, you have to aim carefully)

If you aim well, you can take out both FH's with one P-38.

Unfortunately, its hard to aim  

Its the same as a bomber dropping its 3k of bombs or a 4k bomb between the hangars.

Rip, am pretty sure of it. Kniggits were furballing around field before that, or shot down by ack. There'd been no Knight jabo/buff strikes for a good time on that field.

The trick is to drop at the right spot. Finding what that spot is I leave to those who do not know to figure out  .

Numbers were roughly equal at the time, with the bishops having the fewest bases. The reason we attacked the bishops was that initially after a dumb, the action was on that front (just 23 players on), so we really dinnae check map. Also notice that we were, in fact, outnumbered at the field  .

The Jug is the best solo 1-pass hangar killer.  Grab 10 rockets, 2x1K, and 1x500lbr.  Set salvo to 10.  From 12K dive about 60degrees and aim your rockets right at the target.  Fire, then select bombs and aim just past the target, release bombs, select next bomb and release, then pull up quick.  Target destroyed in one pass and you still have 3400 rounds of 50cal for the acks and Spits.  Of course your climbrate to the target is laughable.

Note:  this may be gaming the game as some people say the Jug could not carry this load in real life.  I don't know either way, but it's fun.
