Last night, I was bombing in a B26. Moments from my drop, a pesky LA5 perched on my six and I drilled a couple of rounds at him until he descended below my line of fire. I knew I was close to the target so I went back to the norden to have a look. Yeah, yeah... I know... stupid move. While I looked at my target, the pings started coming in hard and I was taking serious damage. The norden was smooth all the way looking straight at the ground. When I brought my head up, I was surprised to see the entire aircraft in a spiral as the wing was gone. Yet the norden was on target as if I had a level flight path.

This can't be right, can it?
