Yeah, it was disturbing.

First they get the green light to shoot and almost right away they get a hold fire order quickly followed by a clear to shoot order again.

I thought we had that all sorted out by now.

And the failure to flatten the mosque was a bit disturbing too. But, hey, you can't expect everything.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

I'm unable to hang out much on the boards so I don' t know what's been posted.  I don't apologize for reposting though.

It gave me *extreme* satisfaction to see some of those diddlying roaches blasted to diddly-all (I lost friends at WTC).

Those toejambirds didn't know if they was diddlyed, snakebit, or time to wind their wristwatches.

Payback is truly a squeak.

Bummer about the dust and body parts in the mosque though.

Not.

No mercy.

Evidently not the mosque, just the people coming out of it. Maybe Taliban/Al-Queda? Afghanistan most likely, don't you think?

Holy people make a place holy. People that kill indiscriminately and abuse women and children are not holy and neither are their places of worship, just my opinion.

Why do you play a computer game that does just that? By playing a combat, combat as in war and killing and burning and stuff, simulator you loose any morally superior position. And yes I know exactly what you are going to say, and I do think it's close enough. Also it's much different than the other thing.

Osage is the only one who made the comments anything remotely close to "Yeah! Look at them burn!" and by his own account he had people he knew in the WTC towers.

I think he's entitled to disregard the "human life" that took (or helped take) the lives of the people he knew.

If you lost someone in the towers, you'd be singing a different tune.

No, not all human life is precious... especially not the kind that wants nothing more than for you to die.

I would hope they didnot.
Our fighting people are pros!!!
They have a job to do and they did it.
I but i cant help but feel that they felt good knowing that they may have killed some of the people responsable for 9-11
The taking of a human life is never an easy thing to do.
Thank God I have never been in a position to have to do just that.\
On that point i do agree with you.
In this day and time the fact that we have to resort to acts of war to keep the peace has always confused me.
But it is a fact that in power comes security.
Never forget we lost almost 3k inocent civillian people on 9-11.
Not people who by choice put temseves in harms way but working people mothers father sons and daughters.
If as an american i am really touchy please forgive me i am sure as in time we as a country will heal from this gapping wound left on our society.
I spent my time in the US ARMY i trained for war I was ready fro war but thank God allmighty i never saw war.

I watched the video, and I enjoyed both the awe of it and the thought that the people being killed on it were willing members of a terrorist organization bent on ending my way of life.  I wouldn't equate it with a flight sim, because there were actually lives being lost, not virtual.  I'm glad they're dead.  In short, diddly them.

If you don't like me now or think I'm a bad person, fine.  It's your right to think that.  But it doesn't make you any more right than it does me.

Merry Christmas!  :)

What war you fight in? Maybe you being one who has seen combat gives you some right to moralize but there are way too many here who have not and then they go telling everyone how evil it is to be facinated by that video.

Basically to me it's quite simple, those guys on the tape made 911 happend, they planned it, trained it or suported it joyfully. So as SOB said diddly them.
