Bombers crashing into each other

This has probably been posted somewhere already, but why do the formation buffs blow up when running into each other but I can fly thru any other friendly?

Well, you're right. I've never seen it happen before and can't duplicate it either. I think what happened was that they got a bit too far from me when turning on final plus they crossed paths. So it only appeared that they crashed into each other

When bomber drones get too far from you they just explode. They can fly throught eachother just the same as anything, just don't let them fall back too far.
