Vox/Mic settings
« on: December 29, 2002, 10:56:40 AM »
Ok I give up,

Can anyone tell me the proper Mic settings for Vox in both windows control panel and in the game? and what effect each setting has?
Or at least give some pointers to head me in the right direction.

Sometimes people hear me fine. other times garbled, or muffled. often within minutes of one another.

I see other people having Vox problems as well.

Would be nice to see and receive help with the issue also.. PLEASE

The problem is I don't think there is any one set of settings that will work for all.

What you can do is once in AH, tune radio 5 (  V  ) with your own game id.

IE    .radio 5 ghosth

This sets up a loop back that lets you hear yourself. Then you can play with settings till you are satisfied. Then test with someone in game & get there opinion.
