My books!
« on: December 30, 2002, 10:22:38 AM »
Well now they are all out of storage and back in my bookshelf.

Does anyone else have a hard time, not keeping books?

Need help getting rid of them?

You'll end up with a house like my parents,

My step dad used to do book reviews for the local paper where he works as a journalist, ended up with so many he had to adopt the same system as libraries to catagoise them all (over 4000) they have factual books/natural history in the lounge, fiction library up the stair walls, mainly biographys, history, (all the war books up on the landing) plus theres bookshelves in each bedroom with childrens book (our old books)

the best thing when growing up was that the fiction shelves changed all the time, as new books came in old ones would be removed and sold to the second hand book shop, so it was alway worth checking them as you went to bed to see if any good books had arrived,

I read so much, but still cant spell properly :)

I dont ever want to help them move :)

I am just not sure what to do about them.

When my dad croaked, he had more books then this at his place. But after a year boxed on the patio they still smell so heavily of smoke I can not stand to have them inside!

Anyone know a way to fix that?

I did take some of the books I didnt care for to a used book place.. mostly paperbacks though.

What's up with girls and ponies?

Oh, wait, animalsex.com probably answers that.

OTOH, it's not limited to girls:
